Thousands of you called your representatives in support of pulse-oximetry screening of newborns  for critical congenital heart defects and/or the futures act.

Your support worked! On October 15th, 2010 Secretary Sebelius’ Advisory Committee recommended that pulse-oximetry screening of newborns be added to the panel.

She has until April 20th, 2011 to answer – we are within 48 hours of our goal!!
