#100X100 is Mission Critical this year!

Last year you helped us save 12 children by funding their heart surgery .

Thousands of you called your representatives in support of pulse-oximetry screening of newborns  for critical congenital heart defects and/or the futures act.

Your support worked! On October 15th, 2010 Secretary Sebelius’ Advisory Committee recommended that pulse-oximetry screening of newborns be added to the panel.

She has until April 20th, 2011 to answer – we are within 48 hours of our goal!!

This is Mission Critical and we need your help. Are you up for it?

Email Secretary Sebelius TODAY at kathleen.sebelius@hhs.gov and tell her that all of our nation’s newborns deserve to be screened for Critical Congenital Heart Defects.

That’s it. That’s all we’re asking. One minute to write one email to help save lives.

I care because my sister Heather died from an undiagnosed heart defect when she was just 37 days old.

Why Should You Care?
